Bridge to Growth

Bridge to Growth is an innovative route for foreign owned companies to establish themselves in the UK market. It is a cooperation between EBS, Advantage West Midlands and an increasing number of private sector companies providing free and reduced cost services to help minimise risk and maximise progress. Bridge to Growth has been developed exclusively for foreign owned businesses establishing themselves and intending to employ personnel in the West Midlands Region, which is based around Birmingham. Bridge to Growth
West Midlands EBS has been working with foreign owned companies establishing themselves in the UK since 1991, and therefore has many years experience of the issues which are common to this kind of establishment. EBS focuses exclusively on foreign owned companies as clients, and so has much experience of the wide variety of questions which can arise when entering a new market.

The Bridge to Growth package is specifically designed with foreign owned companies in mind, reducing risk and providing ready made solutions to the usual issues, situations, problems and tasks which are part of an expansion into a new market.

The Bridge to Growth Package now includes

You do not have to use all the Bridge to Growth partners, so you can chose what you need for your own business. The package is designed to make it easier for you to achieve a strong and profitable growth in the UK.

All our Bridge to Growth colleagues offer other services which are not listed here, and would be happy to discuss these with you at any time.

Finally, you may ask what happens if you need to leave the UK project because it did not go well?

Bridge to Growth gives you the security that you are not tied into long term agreements when you start your business in the UK. Everything is on very short term arrangements and even the car and office leases can be ended after 6 months with no penalty cost. The employment laws in the UK mean that you can end even these arrangements and take away any employed people easily in the first year, but you must take legal advice to do this properly.

There is no “tie-in”, or obligation to stay. You can leave the program at any time and for any reason, and you will not be charged for any of the free benefits you have already received, including the free limited company. If you have made any seperate agreements with our partners to provide services you must of course keep to these agreements.

EBS and our Bridge to Growth colleagues look forward to welcoming you to Bridge to Growth. If there is anything you would like to discuss please contact Martin Williams.
