WOCA Denmark was founded in 1969 as part of Trip Trap Denmark A/S, offering a range of wood based products. 35 years later, the company became an independent business, specialising in manufacturing of environmentally friendly wood care products and solutions.
EBS Team met with the company Directors in Autumn 2016, during their scheduled trip to Denmark. As WOCA’s sales in the UK market grew significantly the company decided to set up British entity to demonstrate their commitment to the UK market. To ensure the business is compliant with the UK legislation, WOCA used EBS to set up a limited company.
Brian Ilstrup Madsen, CFO of WOCA Denmark said: ‘Things developed very quickly. Within a few weeks we had a UK company, a bank account, an employee and HMRC and VAT registrations. Martin Williams and his team guided us very quickly, successfully and with a high degree of authority through the process. Everything went very smoothly.’
‘We have now been using EBS as administration supervisor in the UK for more than 3 years. Furthermore they have helped us through change of employees, finding a new bank (quite difficult in the UK if you are a foreign company),BREXIT and the other obstacles we faced in the market.’
